National Defense Minister, Yacoub Riad Al-Sarraf, on Wednesday welcomed at his ministerial office Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, George Giraldo Al-Qadri, with talks between the pair reportedly touching on the bilateral ties, notably the ongoing preparations for signing a military cooperation agreement between the two countries.
Discussions also covered means of bolstering the general situation in Lebanon and the broad region, in addition to the outcome of the Rome II Conference.
Means of strengthening the capabilities of the Lebanese naval forces were also discussed.
