Prime Minister Saad Hariri received this afternoon at the Grand Serail the Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas in the presence of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Fouad Fleifel.
After the meeting Ratas said: "We had a very useful bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Hariri. I am very happy that we had the possibility to visit this beautiful country. Estonia fully supports Lebanon’s stability, security and territorial integrity.
The accompanying delegation and I had the possibility to meet our troops serving in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) yesterday and this morning, and to personally see the blue line and the situation on the southern part of Lebanon.
I told Premier Hariri that Estonia commends Lebanon’s extraordinary support and the efforts to host Syrian refugees. I also conveyed an invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Estonia. These three days were useful and today I met with the President. I would like to thank everyone for the hospitality. I really hope that our countries will improve their relations particularly in the economic, cultural and digital sectors."
