Change and Reform bloc member, Ghassan Mkhaiber, said Monday that the Parliament will not approve the new taxes, noting however that the law promulgated on taxes will be applied.
In an interview, the deputy said that the absence of the Budget has sown constitutional chaos in the country.
He noted that the link between the approval of the Budget and the auditing of budget accounts will take the greatest margin of discussions of the Parliament's General Assembly.
According to him, waste and corruption were not caused by one official or another. He said in this context that reform will begin with the approval of the Budget; the first step on the path of fighting corruption.
