Two weeks ago, Pilot Michel Akl and another woman, who hails from Haddouri family, entered the American University Hospital (AUH).
Akl underwent a small surgery to remove a wart on his finger, and it was successful. The patient was told that he can leave however he preferred to stay overnight in hospital, without knowing that it will be his last night.
The same goes for Mrs. Haddouri, who entered to undergo a cholecystectomy. Once the surgery was finished she was in good condition, however her condition did not last too long, she was found dead next morning, the same fate as patient Akl.
It is worth to note that both patients were on the same floor.
Two weird incidents, sharing same place and date, both patients were in a stable condition when they entered to AUH.
The doubts are hovering over an involvement of a nurse in the two incidents, also many questions raised if their death happened on purpose.
What is more skeptical is that results of autopsy process of both bodies, which were undergone under the supervision of a forensic, were not handed over to their relatives so far.
Patient Michel Akl's wife, who refused to appear before the camera, said that the AUH administration told the relatives that the results of the autopsy will be issued within one week to six weeks.
But in fact, the results of any autopsy are issued within maximum three days, according to various forensics.
The blackout is overwhelming the case. AUH administration has opened an investigation in both cases and it is still ongoing, according to information obtained by MTV.
In a phone call with a source in the medical center, it said that the privacy of the patient is a priority and the administration refuses to discuss such issues with a third party.
"These are our rules, we don't break them", it told MTV.
