Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc member, MP Yassine Jaber, said Lebanon has proven resiliency and steadfastness throughout the past years, saying it was unnecessary to put the country constantly to the test.
Deploring the ongoing vacuum plaguing the state’s institutions amid the protracted delay in the cabinet formation, Jaber said the ball is only in the court of both President Sleiman and Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam.
The lawmaker stressed the need for local rivals to work hand in hand to pull the country out of the current impasse, deeming national dialogue as essential to reach common ground.
