The Super Blue Moon appeared over several Arab countries tonight. 

A supermoon occurs when the full moon is at its closest point to Earth while also appearing full.

A blue moon happens when there are two full moons in a single calendar month or four full moons in a single season. This phenomenon is relatively rare, occurring once every two to three years.
