Journalists gathered on a special day in the town of Tanourine, upon the invitation of lawyer Paul Harb, under the theme "Yalla to Tanourine." The event kicked off with a tasting of the town's products at Paul's Haven, set amidst the stunning natural surroundings. The journalists there learned about the town's history, its important churches, residences, and the activities that attract camping and climbing enthusiasts.
They then moved to the Tanourine Cedar Reserve, where they planted cedar trees representing the "Lebanese Free Press" to symbolize the unity of freedom and cedar to the Lebanese identity and the importance of keeping the media free in a country where some seek to alter its identity.
Lawyer Paul Harb got together with them at Le Bois near Baloua Balaa to express his gratitude for their attendance saying that, "Tanourine is brighter with your presence." He also conveyed a message from Tanourine to those who haven't visited the town yet, encouraging them to discover its tourist attractions.
He pointed out that "the town needs infrastructure and roads to facilitate tourist movement, and it requires all the media support to shed light on it."
