Previous cooperation between Czech Embassy and RHUH:

Since 2018, during 5 missions, a total of 371 free Cataract Surgeries were successfully done at RHUH by the Czech medical team as a result of cooperation between the Czech Medevac Program, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lebanon and Amel Association.
After the blast in the port of Beirut in August 2020, the Czech Republic sent immediately a humanitarian aid to Lebanon. The medical equipment that was part of this aid was also donated to Rafik Hariri University Hospital.
