Caretaker Minister of Culture Mohammad Wissam Mortada welcomed on Tuesday in is office at the Sanayeh palace, the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, in the presence of the Director of the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, Costanza Farina, and a delegation from the Italian Embassy.

Discussions touched on the implementation of two cultural projects in cooperation with the Culture Ministry and funded by the Italian state and the implementation of UN habitat and UNESCO in the railway locality - Gemmayzeh, through the rehabilitation of heritage buildings located in the vicinity of the railway, in addition to creating a public park of a heritage nature in the vicinity of the railway in order to shed light on the importance of preserving our heritage.
