Progressive Socialist Party leader, Walid Jumblatt, on Friday welcomed at his Clemenceau residence former US Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs, David Hale, in the presence of the Democratic Gathering bloc leader, MP Taymour Jumblatt, MPs Marwan Hamade, and Wael Abou Faour, as well as American University of Beirut President Fadlo Khoury. 

The meeting reportedly focused on the latest local and international developments. 

Jumblatt also received the Czech Ambassador to Lebanon, Jiří Doležel, with whom he discussed general developments.
