Lebanese Forces party leader, Samir Geagea, on Wednesday met at the party's headquarters in Maarab with Sagesse Sports Club's basketball team.

“Amid the bleak and tough conditions that the nation endures, I hope that you’ll manage to cling to the same path of success,” Geagea told his visiting delegation, regretting the fact that Lebanese officials fully abstained from performing their duties. “Yet, there are still those who carry out their duties to the fullest and give a true image of Lebanon."

“I wish if only state officials, such as the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, members of the government in general, and other officials, follow your example; even if we do not expect of them to follow your example in carrying out their duties to the fullest, we do expect them to perform the bare minimum of what’s required of them,” Geagea added.
