Minister of Education and Acting Information Minister, Abbas Halabi, explained in an interview on Sunday that "Lebanon is conducting international contacts to address the issue of food security," noting that "the horizon is not blocked."
 
Halabi pointed out that "there is a global contraction in exports in many countries for fear of the development of the war in Ukraine and the aggravation of its repercussions."
 
The Minister stressed that "bringing up the issue of the megacenter on the eve of the deadline for submission of nominations, would open the door to appeals to the electoral process, and thus to the overthrow of the electoral merit."
