Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Thursday held a meeting at the Grand Serail with representatives of the United Nations, the European Union and the World Bank.
Following the meeting, European Union Ambassador to Lebanon, Ralph Tarraf, said that the Lebanese PM presented to the delegation a brief assessment of the situation after his Glasgow visit and his meetings with several international political leaders.
"We expressed our support to PM Mikati and we also discussed the next steps, including holding a joint consultative group meeting under the supervision of the Prime Minister and with the participation of donor countries, civil society organizations and the government, to discuss several dossiers, including the country’s reconstruction, recovery and reforms," Ambassador Tarraf concluded.
