Delegation of the families of Beirut Fire Brigade martyrs to Bitar: Do not let us down

The judicial investigator in the Beirut port explosion case, Judge Tarek Bitar met with a delegation of the families of the fire brigade martyrs who died in the explosion.

After the meeting, the delegation announced that the judicial investigator "is proceeding with his investigations, despite the lawsuits filed against him and the attempts to dismiss him."

The delegation told Bitar, "We are assured of everything you do, and do not let us down."

The delegation also called on "the defendants to appear before the judicial investigator, because the innocent does not fear justice."
