UAE's Foreign Ministry confirmed the completion of "the process of returning diplomats and administrators in the country's mission to Lebanon and the country's citizens to the homeland, given the current security and political conditions in the Lebanese Republic, and in accordance with the decisions of the United Arab Emirates regarding the withdrawal of diplomats and administrators from Lebanon and banning citizens from traveling to the country".
Undersecretary of UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Khaled Abdullah Belhoul said: "Due to the UAE's constant keenness on the safety of its citizens abroad, the ministry has communicated with citizens in Lebanon to coordinate their return to the UAE."
Belhoul indicated that "they followed up on all cases until they safely reached the homeland."
