Minister of National Defense, Maurice Sleem, on Tuesday presented to the President of the Constitutional Council, Judge Tannous Mechleb, a statement of financial disclosure, in accordance with Law No. 189 of October 16, 2021, related to illicit enrichment.

Minister Sleem also welcomed in his office the Head of  ICRC Head of Delegation in Lebanon, Simone Casabianca Aeschimann, who came on a protocol visit, accompanied by the Delegation’s Armed Forces Program Adviser, Elie Asmar.

The meeting reportedly broached common issues and the existing cooperation frameworks between the army and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
