Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in Tripoli morning aboard a military helicopter.
Minister Salam made his first stop at the Tripoli Serail, where he emphasized that his visit "confirms the government's commitment to preserving Tripoli's security and protecting its people."
He added: "We call for greater coordination between the various security agencies, the imposition of strict measures against all threats to Tripoli's security, and zero tolerance for violators, in order to restore citizens' confidence in the state."
