Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh received in his office at the National Library – Sanayeh, Moroccan Ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Akrin and his deputy Lahcen Badri, who paid him a courtesy visit to congratulate him on assuming his ministerial duties.
On emerging, Ambassador Akrin said that the visit was an occasion to discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries and matters related to the cultural domain, while exploring prospects for enhancing the bilateral cooperation.
"We also reviewed the situation in the two countries at various political, economic and social levels," Ambassador Akrin said.
Minister Salameh also met with Norway's Ambassador to Lebanon, Hilde Haraldstad, for a protocol visit during which they discussed the situation in Lebanon and bilateral relations.
On emerging, Ambassador said the visit was an opportunity to discuss the general situation in Lebanon, the challenges and opportunities, in addition to the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Norway at the cultural level.
Salameh later met with Australian Ambassador to Lebanon Andrew Barnes accompanied by his advisor Ben Ghrayek, who congratulated him on assuming his ministerial duties.
Ambassador Barnes said that the visit was an occasion to discuss the bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between Lebanon and Australia, particularly with regard to cultural affairs.
