The journalistic community bid farewell to journalist Hoda Chedid at St. George's Cathedral in downtown Beirut, after a long battle with cancer.
The funeral service was led by the Archbishop of Beirut for the Maronites, Paul Abdel Sater, with the presence of a group of priests and deacons.
After the condolences, the funeral procession moved the body of Chedid to her birthplace for burial.
