President of the Republic Joseph Aoun met with Secretary-General of the Union Party, MP Hassan Murad, with whom he discussed security conditions along the northeastern and southern borders, as well as general developments and pressing needs in the Bekaa region.
Diplomatically, President Aoun received at Baabda palace, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Lebanon Jiri Dolezel, who came on a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in the country.
The outgoing Ambassador presented the most prominent achievements during his term in bolstering the Lebanese-Czech bilateral relations, particularly his country’s support to the Lebanese army.
President Aoun thanked Ambassador Dolezel for the role he played in strengthening te bilateral relations between the two countries and wished him success in his new mission.
Additionally, Aoun received President of the Military Court of Cassation, Judge John Azzi, with whom he discussed general judicial affairs.
