President of the Republic Joseph Aoun received at Baabda presidential Palace, Senior Advisor at the British Ministry of Defense for Middle East Affairs Admiral Edward Algreen, along with a delegation.
Discussions during the meeting reportedly touched on the current situation in Lebanon and the broad region, as well as cooperation between the two countries, especially in the military field.
Admiral Algreen emphasized his country's readiness to complete the construction of border surveillance towers to enhance security and stability.
President Aoun thanked the British military official for his country’s support to the army. President Aoun and the Admiral held a tour d'horizon on the current developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as on the situation in the south.
