President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, participated in the opening of the extraordinary Arab summit hosted by Cairo, dedicated to discussing the Palestinian cause and its developments.
President Aoun arrived at the summit venue at 3:20 pm this afternoon, where he was received by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Lebanon’s address by President Aoun at the Summit is expected to be among the first speeches to be delivered.
Additionally, on the sidelines of the meetings held between the members of the participating delegations ahead of the summit, Lebanon’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Rajji, met with his Syrian counterpart Asaad al-Shaibani, with whom he discussed the Lebanese-Syrian relations.
