Minister of Labor Mohammad Haidar held a series of meetings at his office, focusing on employment policies, the pharmaceutical sector, and international cooperation.
In his first meeting, Minister Haidar welcomed Acting Director General of the National Employment Institution, Elie Barbari, with whom he discussed the institution’s operations. He emphasized the need to enhance its efficiency in alignment with labor market demands.
Later, the minister met with President of the Lebanese Order of Pharmacists, Joe Salloum, with whom he discussed the pharmaceutical sector and its relationship with the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), given the ministry’s supervisory authority over the fund. Discussions centered on improving coordination to ensure the sector’s stability.
Haidar also met with Lydia Skolilova, the Economic Attaché at the Czech Embassy in Lebanon, with whom he explored bilateral relations and avenues for strengthening cooperation in ways that benefit both countries.
