Salam Had an Important Request During the first Cabinet Session

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam wrote the following on his X account:

"During the first government session today, I emphasized the importance of a complete separation between public and private work. To avoid any confusion, I requested that all my esteemed ministerial colleagues fully dedicate themselves to their ministerial duties and resign from the chairmanship or membership of any boards of directors for commercial companies or banks. I clarified that this does not, of course, include membership in educational or social bodies that work for the benefit of society as a whole."
