The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants expressed deep concern over Israeli plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from their land, which is considered both a historical and legal right under international resolutions.
The Ministry emphasized its opposition to any encroachment on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.
Lebanon’s MoFA condemned attempts to seize Palestinian lands and forcibly displace them as a direct assault on the Palestinian cause, especially for refugees in Lebanon. Such actions, the Ministry stated, constitute blatant violations of international law, humanitarian law, and human rights.
Lebanon further reaffirmed its commitment to international legitimacy and the right of all people to live with dignity within their homeland.
The Ministry finally called for urgent international efforts to implement the two-state solution as the only way to ensure Palestinian rights and end decades of suffering.
