A meeting was held at Baabda presidential palace, attended by President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Prime Minister-Designate Nawaf Salam, devoted to discussing the new government lineup.
During the meeting, the already accomplished stages of the government formation process were presented, and it was agreed that Premier Salam would continue his consultations with the concerned sides to complete the formation process.
Following the tripartite meeting, Speaker Berri and PM-Designate Salam departed Baabda presidential palace without making any statements.
