President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, expressed confidence in Kuwait's continued support for Lebanon, telling a Kuwaiti delegation led by Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, "I am certain you will not hesitate to offer assistance to your Lebanese brothers, who are awaiting your return to be among your family and loved ones."
Aoun further emphasized that after the formation of a new government, Lebanon would engage with Gulf nations to establish new foundations for cooperation, with key principles already outlined in his inaugural speech, which focused on state-building.
For his part, Minister Al-Yahya reaffirmed Kuwait's commitment to Lebanon, stating, "Our visit is one of support, endorsement, and expressing our unwavering commitment to stand by Lebanon."
