MP Ibrahim Kanaan said, following the Independent Consultative Gathering bloc’s meeting with Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam at the parliament, that “what matters the most is to rescue Lebanon and exit the dark tunnel.”
“We hope that the Shia duo joins hands with us,” he said, stressing the importance of the political will to ensure the success of the new government and tenure.
