According to Kuwait's Al Rai newspaper:
The Court of Cassation in Kuwait, presided over by Judge Abdullah Jassim Al-Abdullah, sentenced all defendants in the charity committee case accused of financing Hezbollah to three years in prison and a fine of 27 million Kuwaiti dinars for funding Hezbollah with over 13 million dinars.
Previously, both the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal had acquitted all defendants. However, the Court of Cassation overturned the acquittal, convicting the defendants with imprisonment and fines.
