Sheikh Akl of the Unitarian Druze Community, Sheikh Sami Abi Al-Muna met with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Waleed Bukhari at his residence in Choueifat.
Discussions reportedly focused on the historic ties between the Druze community and Saudi Arabia, ways to enhance these relations, and recent developments, particularly the election of Lebanon's new president.
Sheikh Abi Al-Muna praised Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in ending the presidential vacancy and called for continued Arab support to strengthen Lebanon's institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Druze Sheikh presented Ambassador Bukhari with a book on Lebanon-Saudi historical relations.
