Head of Hezbollah’s Coordination and Liaison Unit Wafiq Safa toured Dahieh, Beirut at the site of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Safa stated, "Sayyed Nasrallah’s presence lives on in the resistance, its fighters, and its supporters. Hezbollah is stronger and more resilient than steel, and it is more powerful than ever before, as the enemy has witnessed." He continued, "We will confront unlawful actions in Dahieh in coordination with the security forces."
Safa added, "The Israeli army admitted that its objective for the ground invasion was not achieved, and over 67 days, it advanced only a few hundred meters. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s capabilities have been restored, and it is prepared to respond to any aggression in a manner it deems appropriate. No one should test us anymore." He also mentioned that Speaker Nabih Berri will discuss Israeli violations with US mediator Amos Hochstein.
Regarding the presidential election and the January 9 session, Safa emphasized, "We do not have a veto on Army Commander General Joseph Aoun. The only veto we have is on Samir Geagea because he represents a project of sedition and destruction in the country."
