Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati held a meeting with UN Resident Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza, World Bank Regional Director for the Middle East, Jean-Christophe Carret, and EU Ambassador, Sandra De Waele.
The discussion, attended by Mikati’s advisors, former Minister Nicolas Nahas and Ziad Mikati, focused on coordinating efforts between the Lebanese government, UN agencies, the European Union, and the World Bank to provide support and assistance for Lebanon, particularly in reconstruction efforts.
Separately, PM Mikati met with Internal Security Forces Director-General Major General Imad Othman to discuss the country's security situation.
