Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati attended the 11th Summit of the "Developing-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation" in Cairo, hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
In his address during the opening session, Mikati thanked President El-Sisi for highlighting the issues of Lebanon and Gaza on the summit's agenda.
"We often hear calls for diligent work and cooperation, but we must truly act. As God commands: 'Work, for God will see your deeds’,” Mikati said.
The Prime Minister emphasized unity, collaboration, and focusing efforts on public benefit, adding, "The most beloved people to God are those most beneficial to others."
Mikati finally affirmed Lebanon's commitment to supporting the group's initiatives for collective success.
