Kataeb Leader MP Samy Gemayel met with Norwegian Ambassador to Lebanon Hilde Haraldstad and Swedish Ambassador to Lebanon Jessica Svärdström, at his office in Bikfaya.
The discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
The first meeting was attended by Political Bureau Member Rita Boulos, Kataeb’s Head of Public Policy and Legislation Lara Saade and Head of the Kataeb Foreign Affais Department Marwan Abdallah .
Ambassador Haraldstad was accompanied by her political advisor, Erik Wold Sanda.
The second meeting included Saade, Abdallah, and Deputy Ambassador Christian Nilsson.
During the discussions, Gemayel emphasized the need to confine weapons exclusively to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and to implement international resolutions, enabling Lebanon to build a true state governed by the constitution and the rule of law.
He also stressed the importance of electing a sovereign and reformist president who can restore both internal and international trust and address Lebanon's ongoing crises.
