Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received at his Yarzeh office Caretaker Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam, with whom he discussed the country’s general situation.
The army commander also received at his Yarzeh office, Admiral Edward Ahlgren, Senior Advisor to the UK Ministry of Defense for the Middle East and North Africa, in the presence of UK Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell.
Discussions reportedly touched on the general situation in the country in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression on Lebanon, and ways to enhance cooperation between the armies of the two countries.
