Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received at the second presidential headquarters in Ain El-Tineh, the Hungarian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ferenc Csillag, who handed him a letter from his Hungarian counterpart, László Kövér, in which he underlined Lebanon’s indispensable role in the region.
Kövér also pointed out that “Hungary shall remain committed to strengthening the stability of the Lebanese state," and expressed hope for "continued cooperation between the two parliaments and working to deepen friendly relations between the two countries."
The visit was also an opportunity to discuss the country’s general situation and political and field developments.
On the other hand, Speaker Berri received in Ain El-Tineh, Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud, with whom he discussed the general situation, particularly the conditions of the displaced persons.
