Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri hosted Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the second presidential residence in Ain El-Tineh.
The pair reportedly discussed the latest political and field developments in light of the intensifying Israeli aggression on Lebanon, as well as the issue of displaced persons.
Berri also met with the French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro with whom he reviewed Lebanon's situation and the political landscape, along with preparations for the upcoming international conference organized by France in support of Lebanon.
Additionally, Berri discussed security matters with Army Intelligence Chief Brigadier General Tony Kahwagi.
