Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Dr. Ali Hamieh, visited Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut to review the ongoing flight operations.
During his visit, Hamieh was briefed by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation on the status of flights to and from the airport.
From the control tower, Minister Hamieh commended the work of air traffic controllers and all staff at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for ensuring the continuity of air traffic in accordance with global safety standards.
Moreover, Hamieh also praised the Directorate’s management and its coordination with Airport Security, Internal Security Forces, General Security, Customs, and the companies operating at the airport, all in line with applicable laws.
