With the intensification of the Israeli aggression and continuous shelling of southern Lebanese villages, the administrations of Marjayoun and Meiss el-Jabal government hospitals have been forced to evacuate, effectively taking them out of service.
Given this serious development, other hospitals, particularly in Beirut and its suburbs, especially those in areas targeted by Israeli airstrikes such as the southern suburbs, may face a similar situation.
In this context, the head of the Private Hospitals Syndicate, Sleiman Haroun, revealed in a call with MTV that patients have already been evacuated from St. Thérèse Hospital in Hadath. Repair and restoration work has started, with the aim of resuming operations soon.
It's also worth noting that the Ministry of Health previously issued a circular to hospitals in Mount Lebanon, preparing them to accommodate patients from southern suburb hospitals should evacuations become necessary.
