The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement:
As the Israeli enemy continues its increasing barbaric assaults on various Lebanese areas, some media outlets have reported inaccurate information regarding the army's withdrawal from its southern border positions by several kilometers in light of the enemy's preparations to carry out a ground operation inside Lebanese territory.
The Army Command wishes to clarify that the military units deployed in the south are adjusting the locations of certain observation posts within their assigned areas. The command also continues to cooperate and coordinate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
