Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib participated in the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly in its seventy-ninth session in New York, in the presence of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, along with a large number of leaders, kings, and heads of states from around the world.
Minister Bou Habib continues his meetings today aimed at de-escalation, and Prime Minister Najib Mikati will lead the Lebanese delegation and efforts for calm upon his arrival in New York.
