The Israeli army announced that it "thwarted an attempt by Hezbollah to launch cruise missiles from a house in southern Lebanon."
In a statement, it revealed Hezbollah's method of hiding a cruise missile inside a house by creating a dedicated opening for its launch. The statement added that "in a precise strike, Israeli defense forces eliminated the terrorists and the missile launch infrastructure just before the launch."
The Israeli army noted that the DR-3 cruise missile has a range of 200 km and carries a warhead weighing up to 300 kg.
The army also confirmed that it will soon conduct intensive and precise strikes against terrorist targets widely planted throughout Lebanon. It advised civilians in Lebanese villages located in buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as weapon storage, to immediately distance themselves for their safety.
