The National News Agency reported that an Iraqi military plane landed at the airbase, loaded with aid and medical supplies provided by the Iraqi Ministry of Health to the Lebanese government.
The plane was received at the airport by the Director General of the Ministry of Health Fadi Sinan along with a delegation from the Iraqi embassy in Lebanon.
A second plane, also carrying aid and medical supplies, is expected to follow.
