Minister of Education Abbas Halabi announced the closure of all public and private schools, high schools, technical institutes, the Lebanese University, and all private higher education institutions tomorrow, Wednesday. This includes halting administrative and preparatory work in schools, high schools, and technical institutes, as a condemnation of the criminal act committed by the Israeli enemy against citizens, which resulted in thousands of martyrs and wounded.
Halabi extended his deepest condolences to the families of the martyrs, expressing his profound sorrow and grief, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery and healing of their wounds.
Minister Halabi also called upon the global conscience to stop the Israeli killing machine, which shows no mercy and makes no distinction, having committed an unprecedented collective crime against the Lebanese people.
Schools and universities will be closed tomorrow
