Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, visited the Commando Regiment stationed in the military training zone of Qurnat as Sawda, underscoring the importance of their presence in maintaining security and preventing conflicts, particularly amid ongoing land disputes under judicial review.
Addressing the troops, Aoun said, "Your presence guarantees stability in this challenging terrain, where your continuous efforts reflect your dedication to your sacred mission."
Furthermore, the Army Commander praised their determination, adding, "I see your strong will and high morale, and I’m proud of you."
Aoun concluded by stressing that “preserving civil peace is paramount” and urged “patience and sacrifice in protecting the nation.”
