Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi received in Diman, French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro, in presence of Bishops Boulos Sayyah and Joseph Naffa.
Discussions reportedly touched on the current situation, especially the war on Gaza and on the southern border, in addition to the presidential vacuum issue.
Patriarch Rahi then received in Diman, MP Salim Sayegh, with discussions touching on national issues.
Rahi also received in Diman the Lebanese Ambassador to Austria and Lebanon’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna, Ibrahim Assaf, who briefed him on the current situation of the Lebanese community in Austria.
Discussions also touched on general affairs, especially the issue of interfaith dialogue.
Among Diman's itinerant visitors for today had been a delegation from the administrative committee of the “Ya Ayni Al Baladi” Association. The delegation briefed the Patriarch on the Association’s projects.
Rahi then received the Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mar Ignatius Joseph III Younan, and a number of priests.
