Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati received a phone call from British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, during which relations between Lebanon and Britain and the situation in Lebanon and the region were discussed.
During the phone call, the British Foreign Secretary said: “This is a critical moment for stability in the Middle East. There can be no more delays, the fighting must stop now.”
The British Secretary also stressed the need for all parties to urgently and immediately de-escalate.
