The Lebanese army stressed, in a statement, that its "military units continue to execute the joint missions with the UNIFIL, in addition to cooperation and close coordination with it, within the framework of (UN) Resolution 1701, in light of the exceptional circumstances and developments the country is witnessing, namely the continuous attacks by the Israeli enemy."
The army's statement follows media reports claiming that the Lebanese military and the international peacekeeping force have halted their joint patrols.
