Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati held a meeting at the Grand Serail with the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, namely the ambassadors of the United States of America, France, Britain, China and Russia, and the representatives of the non-permanent member states present in Lebanon, namely the ambassadors of Algeria, Japan, Switzerland and South Korea.
The meeting took place in the presence of Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib.
Partaking in the meeting had also been the Prime Minister's advisors, Ambassador Boutros Asaker and Ziad Mikati.
The meeting emphasized the Lebanese constants regarding the situation in the region, the most important of which is the priority of implementing the United Nations resolutions, especially Resolution 1701.
On the other hand, Premier Mikati received at the Grand Serail former MP Bahia Hariri,over an array of relevant affairs.
Mikati also received at the Grand Serail the Director General of State Security, Major General Antoine Saliba.
