The Internal Security Forces (ISF) on Wednesday said in a statement that it had managed to foil an illegal migration operation to Italy after receiving information on the case. 

The ISF managed to identify the organizers of the operation, who were arrested on June 29 aboard the “death boat”, and two other people who were transporting migrants to Tripoli’s coast. 

The detainees confessed to the accusations leveled at him, noting that the boat is owned by a Syrian national who was planning the illicit migration operation to Italy.
